The Rolling Earth Farm & Retreat Center is an organic, self-sufficiency oriented farm. We are in the process of designing and applying permaculture principles and techniques for raising chickens, re-directing our wastes from the landfill and building with earthen materials. We focus on utilizing energy in the most efficient and earth-friendly ways possible, and on growing food in a way that re-vitalizes soil and enhances ecosystems in the long-term.
We grow about 50% of the food our family consumes and we are able to offer much seasonal, local and organically grown foods to you through our catering. We also sell a limited amount of produce and prepared foods at our local farmers market, Heart of the Creek Market (June through September). Many groups come to us ready to prepare their own meals and we welcome you to do so in our full-service kitchen.
Here is a sampling of the delicious, fresh and organic meals we have available at Rolling Earth.
Farmer’s Breakfast – Eggs from our well-fed & happy chickens, home fries, fresh-baked muffins with wild berries and fruits in season.
Farmer’s Lunch – selection of natural goat and cow cheeses, fresh-baked bread, body and heart-warming soup made with the season’s freshest vegetables.
Dinner Feast – Local, sustainable fish or prawns, Vegetarian casseroles, Fresh-baked bread, seasonal salad from our garden, luscious desserts made from organic ingredients and our store of local, wild berries and fruits.
Please inquire about special diets. We will happily provide gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian meals at a small additional cost.
